Handcrafted by skilled artisans our signature square placemats in faux shagreen natural are inspired by soft, natural hues. Through meticulous burnishing and polishing, the natural patina of the material is brought to life making each mat truly unique.

Craftsmanship

Our range is beautifully handcrafted from either Silver Leaf, Gold Leaf or Faux Skin finishes, which make an extravagant and luxurious addition to any coffee table, bar or home. Comprising of fourteen different finishes available in a traditional high gloss or a beautiful matte finish lacquer, lustrous gold leaf or faux skin.

The technique of gilding involves the leaf being hand applied piece by piece making each coaster truly unique. Following the application of the silver leaf, eleven layers of clear lacquer are then applied. Each layer is hand-polished, taking several days to achieve the luxurious and lustrous end finish.
